Biography

I’m Amit, a street and travel photographer based in Birmingham, England. Carrying a camera gives me a reason to pay closer attention to chance encounters, shifting light and the quiet character of a place. I’m less interested in perfect scenes than in honest fragments that might otherwise pass unnoticed.

Practice

Most of my photographs are made while walking, without a fixed shot list. I respond to what is already there: people moving through space, color, weather, awkward pauses and brief alignments. Travel changes the setting, but the instinct stays the same: notice first and explain later.
